June Mini Release

Each year as we welcome summer, I am instantly brought back to my happy place: south Florida. The last day of school meant a family trip was near. What once was story time with my own grandparents while overlooking the golf course in West Palm Beach, has now turned into July 4th fireworks with my parents at their Naples home. My children are making the same memories with their grandparents that I hold dear, yet this time on Florida’s west coast and I am privileged to observe them.

I vividly remember laying on a lounge chair at my grandparents’ pool listening to The Corrs on my ipod (remember those?). For those of you who aren’t familiar, the Irish band is a mixture of pop rock and folk rock. I like to think that their music is the soundtrack of my summer. Upbeat and relatable, I once had every word memorized. Each piece in this small collection is named after lyrics from The Corrs songs I listened to for many of my childhood summers.
